December Updates + Our Biggest Subtle Anime Clothing Drop Yet

Hey all, it's been a while since we penned a blog!
The last few months have been crazy for us in the best way possible.
NO1 was built to be more than just another anime clothing brand. We always said we wanted to make subtle anime clothing that people can wear anywhere, and now we're taking some big steps to make that experience even better for everyone around the world.

Here’s everything we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

1. US Customers Now Get Full “All-In Pricing”

We’ve officially run the numbers and made the call:
we’ll be absorbing both delivery and tax charges for all customers in the US starting from the next drop.

That means:

• no surprise duties

• no weird handling fees

• no extra courier taxes

• no “calculated at checkout” nonsense

Just clean, simple pricing.
What you see on the site is exactly what you pay.

This is a huge step for us and also something very few anime clothing brands are willing to do. But if it brings more people into the world of subtle anime merch, it’s worth it.

2. EU Customers — “All-In Pricing” Is Coming Next

We’re currently in the process of registering with an IOSS intermediary.

To keep it simple:
once this is completed, EU customers will get the same smooth, all-in experience that US customers are getting starting next drop!

This means:

• VAT shown upfront (or absorbed!)

• no surprise customs bills

• no extra duty fees on delivery

• cleaner, smoother checkout

We want everyone in Europe to have access to subtle anime clothing without dealing with the usual import headaches.

3. Mid-December Drop Window: 15th to 21st (Tentative)

The T-shirts for the next drop are almost done printing, and we’re aiming to drop somewhere between December 15th and 21st.

This will be our biggest drop yet, both in number of designs and in the amount of meaning behind them.

4. Creator Collabs + Exclusive Codes

For this release, we’re partnering with a few creators who genuinely love minimalist anime fashion.

Each creator will have their own:

• unique discount code

• exclusive content

• personal interpretation of our designs

Using their code is a great way to support them while supporting us!
And as a bonus, there will be one exclusive Attack on Titan design that we worked on together with an influencer many of you already follow ✨

🔥 3 Demon Slayer Designs

This drop adds three very different forms of subtle Demon Slayer inspired designs into our Demon Slayer collection, each one inspired by a specific moment or symbol from the series:

• Akaza-Inspired Design
  A minimalist take on one of the most complex antagonists in the story. Built around the iconic marks on Akaza’s face, reinterpreted and redesigned into a clean, wearable design.
  
  And honestly… we all hated Akaza for years, until Infinity Castle flipped everything on its head. All that hate turned into sadness once we saw his backstory unfold. So this design became our way of paying tribute to a character with one of the saddest, most unforgettable pasts in Demon Slayer 😭
  
  

• Zenitsu’s Final Moments With His Grandpa
  A tribute to the moment Zenitsu shared with his grandpa in that beautiful flower field, the moment he was told he was his pride and joy. Anyone who watched it in theaters probably felt that hit deep. This design captures that feeling in a subtle and personal way for fans who remember it.
  
  

• Demon Slayer Corps Uniform-Inspired Design
  Honestly… the Demon Slayer Corps uniform has always been one of the coolest fits in the whole series.
  
  We’ve wanted to wear it on a T-shirt for the longest time, but the only way to get something close was to buy a full cosplay outfit, which isn’t exactly something you can wear out on a normal day. 
  
  So… we made it ourselves! A clean, subtle, everyday-wear version of the Corps uniform. Something you can style with anything, without it looking like costume gear.
  
  

These three designs are our interpretation of what we loved most from the recent Infinity Castle movie, moments and details that really stuck with us. We turned those feelings into pieces we think you’ll genuinely enjoy wearing and adding into your everyday rotation.

Not loud, not over-the-top, just subtle Demon Slayer-inspired designs you can style easily.

🗝 3 Attack on Titan Designs

You love Attack on Titan, we love Attack on Titan, so yes… AOT designs are definitely part of this drop. We worked on three subtle Attack on Titan designs that feel clean and minimal, perfect if you're into subtle AOT shirts or minimalist Attack on Titan t-shirts you can wear anywhere. Honestly... one of these might be our strongest Attack on Titan shirt so far.

• Son of Grisha
  Inspired by The Son of Man painting, which was actually shared with us by Ruth in our Discord channel. The original artwork explores identity, the difference between what we show and what we hide, and how people often present a version of themselves while keeping their true self out of sight.
  The apple covering the face (in the painting) represents that hidden inner world. 
  
  For our interpretation, we brought that idea into the world of Attack on Titan. Instead of an apple, we used a jaeger to cover Eren's face, symbolising the freedom that Eren endlessly sought for.
  
  He is shown in his Scouts uniform with the basement key his father left behind on his neck. The result is a subtle AOT design that blends art, symbolism, and storytelling in a way that looks good with anything you wear.
  
  We think you guys will really love this piece 🙇🏻♂️
  
  

• Sea of Freedom
  In this design, we share our interpretation of the moment when the Scouts finally reached the ocean, only to realise that the freedom they dreamed of came with a harsh truth. On the other side of that beautiful horizon were the very enemies who had been sending Titans after them for years, waiting for the day Paradis would cease to exist.
  
  This is one of our favorite designs in this drop and we hope you guys will love it too!
  
  

• Cabin's Kiss
  THIS IS ALREADY A SPOILER – we worked really closely with one of your favorite creators on this design and he/she will share more about this design really soon 😉
  
  

With these 3 new designs, our Attack on Titan collection hits 6 and honestly we’re so hyped about it. Every time we think we’re done, AOT gives us another moment or idea that we want to turn into clean, subtle anime clothing you can wear anywhere.

🏴☠️ 1 One Piece Design

Gotta admit... we're feeling like we don't have enough One Piece designs and we wanted to create more subtle One Piece clothing that you can actually wear everyday, so here's one more to add on to our One Piece collection!

• Enemy of God
  We’ve been catching up on One Piece (just reached the Egghead arc!!!) and before the Kaido fight there was this scene about the people with the initial “D” being called Enemies of the Gods. 
  
  The visuals were so sick we actually paused the show to picture how it could work as a design!!
  
  That exact moment inspired this piece and we're honestly really happy with how it turned out!! Hope you guys love it too.
  

This design is based on a moment that even hardcore One Piece fans might not spot right away, but we thought it looked too cool not to turn into something wearable. If you’re into subtle One Piece merch or subtle anime clothes and clean designs that don’t scream “anime”, we hope this one makes its way into your daily rotation the same way the AOT pieces did.

6. Bonus: Hoodies + Sweaters Coming Early 2025

Yes, we heard you guys and it’s happening!
Right now we mainly focus on subtle anime shirts, but we're finally expanding the lineup.

We’re currently developing our first batch of:

• hoodies

• sweaters

• sweatpants (?)

We're planning this for Early Jan/Early Feb, this will depend on how fast we wrap up the design concepts we’re working on right now!

Same quality.
Same oversized fit.
Same subtle anime aesthetic.

This will be the next evolution of NO1 🔥

Why These Updates Matter

At the end of the day, NO1 is about building a space for people who want:

• subtle anime merch

• clean designs

• streetwear energy

• deeper storytelling

Not everyone wants giant faces or loud prints.
Some of us want to express what these stories mean - quietly, confidently, and in our own way.
