Welcome to a closer look at one of our upcoming designs, On The Other Side!
For those new here, at NO1 APPARELS, we believe subtle anime clothing and animeclothing should feel natural. Something you can wear daily without needing to explain it. Something that only stands out to people who understand the story behind it.
On The Other Side is our latest Attack on Titan shirt, inspired by one of the most important moments in the series. The day the Scout Regiment finally reached the sea.
For those drawn to Attack on Titan clothing, animeclothing, or a subtle attack on titan t shirt, this piece reflects a quiet turning point.
The Long Journey Beyond the Walls
For years, the ocean represented hope.
It lived in books, rough sketches, and stories shared by soldiers who had never seen anything beyond stone walls. A place none of them had touched, but all of them believed would mean freedom.
When the Scouts finally reached the shoreline, they celebrated.
Laughter broke the silence. Hands reached into the water. Some splashed around like children seeing the world for the first time.
They talked about the ocean, about the salt, about what it could mean. For most of them, this was freedom.
To many of them, the struggle finally felt over.
The Weight of Reaching the Sea
This scene is often remembered as one of the most hopeful moments in Attack on Titan.
But standing at the edge of the ocean did not bring closure. It revealed something far heavier.
The world was larger than they had imagined. The enemy was no longer simple. The future was no longer certain.
And only one person truly grasped that.
Eren Saw What Came Next
While the others stood in awe, Eren remained still, looking across the water.
He did not see peace.
He saw what waited beyond.
On the other side of the ocean were people who had shaped the suffering they lived through. Real enemies. Real choices. Consequences that could not be avoided.
That was when Eren asked the question that changed everything in Attack on Titan.
“If we kill them all, will we finally be free?”
From that moment, Eren’s path changed. Something quieter set in, and it would shape everything that followed.
It was the first time we saw Eren step away from hope and move towards inevitability.
The Birth of an Antagonist
Up until that moment, Eren was the embodiment of rebellion. A protagonist driven by rage, loss, and the dream of freedom.
But standing before the ocean, something changed.
Freedom no longer meant escaping walls.
It meant confronting the world.
This was the moment Eren stopped seeing Titans as the enemy and started seeing humanity itself as the obstacle.
And that realization would lead him down one of the darkest character arcs in anime history.
Translating That Moment Into Subtle Anime Clothing

At first glance, the image feels calm. A group of Scouts facing the sea together.
But beneath that calm was something only Eren truly realised.
On The Other Side was designed around that realisation.
This Attack on Titan shirt was meant to represent the moment Eren's path began to shift.
Our Attack on Titan shirt designs follow the same philosophy behind our subtle anime clothing and subtle anime merch. Nothing about the image demands attention. Its weight only becomes clear to those who recognise the moment.
Because reaching the sea was never meant to be celebrated. It marked the beginning of something far larger, far darker, and far more complicated.
Coming Soon
On The Other Side is arriving very soon!
We are aiming to open preorders between the 21st and 25th December, and this will be the final AOT design in this drop.
If you want something to wear while waiting, you can explore the attack on titan shirt designs we currently have, all built around the same subtle approach and emotional weight.
For those who have been looking for animeclothing and apparel anime that feels genuine, this is it.
This is our interpretation of anime clothing. Designs that spark conversations. Designs that lead to unexpected connections with people who care about the same stories that you do.
We believe that is what clothing should do. Not signal purchasing power. Not just carry a logo. But quietly reveal what matters to you.
For those who truly understand Attack on Titan, freedom was never behind the walls. It was never waiting at the sea.
It was waiting on the other side.
